PRIMARY PROGRAM (3-6 years)

The primary program (3-6 years) is a mixed age classroom of up to 30 students. Dr. Montessori believed that a large classroom allowed for the greatest level of social interaction, peer-learning, and promoted true independence. During their three years in the primary class a child grows tremendously. Lessons range from threading a needle, to drawing flags of South America, to memorizing addition facts. Upon completion of the program a child is well prepared for elementary. Our graduates are accepted into and succeed at a variety of private and public city schools.
