The Application Process

Tuition

This is not a free education, but we believe it is a great bargain when the educational quality is compared to other schools of similar caliber. We are one of only two schools with Recognized AMI Montessori status in the city of Chicago.

One aspect of Montessori when executed in the traditional form is that it is efficient and these traits translate into some cost benefits to our families: There are no annually printed textbooks or disposable items, the materials are beautiful but they also last longer; The "teacher/student" ratio is purposefully high; Upper Elementary and Adolescent children use the entire city as their classroom and more.

Policies & Procedures

While this is not a complete list of our policies and procedures we feel that it is important for prospective parents to understand more about how we operate.

Siblings

We encourage families to stick together. Therefore we give priority to siblings who are automatically accepted to the school. The reverse is true too, if any child leaves the school prior to completing the program we ask their siblings to follow suit.

Kindergarten

One of the most important years for a Primary age child is their third year. This is when they finally have the opportunity to ‘lead.’ Therefore we expect families to stay through the kindergarten year.
